Well there is no stopping the Chinese smartphones brands from launching a barrage of phones one after the another and each one is better than the other.
So very recently OPPO China has launched its much awaited, rumored, leaked smartphone Reno 3 in the land of Orient.
Interestingly there are two variants Reno 3 and Reno 3 Pro and both of them support 5G and 48 MP Read Quad Camera setup.
Well the hardware similarities end there and both phone are based on two different SOCs from different brands. While Reno 3 is based on MediaTek Dimensity 1000L 5G SoC , Reno 3 Pro is based on Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G SoC .
Oppo Reno 3 Pro 5G has tried a distinctive and unique look and feel by providing a hyperboloid design on its back and rear panels. To an end user it means that both back and rear panels will have dual curved glass design which should lead to a sleeker and slimmer finish.
The website also mentions in Chinese that Reno 3 Pro 5G will be only 7mm and Reno 3 to be 7.96 mm thick and and will weigh 181gms .
Oppo Reno 3 comes with 6.44-inch AMOLED full HD+(FD+) display with an aspect ratio of 20:9.
Oppo Reno 3 PRO 5G on the other hands goes pro and supports 6.5 inch FHD+ display with 90Hz Refresh Rate, 180 Hz touch detection rate for less lag and improved gaming experience.
It also comes with 100 per cent DCI-P3 color gamut and HDR10+ support.
The display in PRO supports 1080 x 2400 pixels resolution, and 92.1% screen-to-body ratio.
The Rear Quad Camera looks impressive and boasts and is aligned vertically

Reno 3 has the cost advantage and is priced lower than the Pro version.
In China it is starting from CNY 3,399 (~35K INR) for 8GB variant and 12GB variant is CNY 3,699 (~37K).
Reno 3 PRO being the expensive sibling of the two is priced at CNY 3,999 (approx Rs. 40K INR) for 8GB/128 variant and CNY 4,499 (~46K INR) for 12GB/256GB variant.
Well now that we know what China is getting we should expect similar or almost same variants in India by OPPO and its sibling Realme. What say @madhavsheth1 ?
